Sometimes we hear about an area and how poor or dangerous it is and for most of us, the natural reaction would be to avoid that area because it makes us feel uneasy but as believers and followers of Jesus, we know that we need to charge on towards the things that make us uncomfortable if that is the cost of advancing the Kingdom. Our Victory congregation is situated in Babilon, one of the severely poor informal settlements in Windhoek. Here we believe that God can take any community and transform it for His purposes and kingdom. We have seen families restored, dreams come alive, captives set free and broken hearts restored to the father. We exist to inspire hope to the hopeless and see Babilon, a place most ignore or look down on, transformed by the word, presence and power of God as we disciple one person at a time and build meaningful relationships.
