Project 61: Building Project
It’s exciting times for us here at Every Nation Windhoek! We are in the process of building our new church and apostolic centre.
The work has already begun and on the 6th of July 2014, we celebrated the ground breaking for our building. Immediately after that, we started clearing the land, measuring out the levels and boundaries, as well as setting up the contractor’s facilities. Now, the ground level has been prepared and most of the foundations have been excavated. The contractor, Mr. Iwaan Beukes, and his team of enthusiastic workers are committed to seeing the building complete and standing tall.
The purpose of the new church and centre (besides being the Every Nation Windhoek head office, as well as the venue from where we will conduct our weekly Sunday services), will be to serve as a facility to train and equip every member of our church to become an effective Christ-centred minister.
In due time, we desire to release ministry leaders, connect group leaders, missionaries, pastors and church planters into the Namibian society, Africa, and the world at large. Thus remaining steadfast to the Every Nation vision of “honouring God by establishing Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered, socially responsible churches and campus ministries in every nation.”
I want to encourage the whole church to wholeheartedly get behind this project. Let’s all join in prayer that nothing will stop the progress we are making. Regular prayer on a weekly basis is what carries the work forward.
Let’s talk about it and promote what the Lord is doing in our midst. Lastly, let’s contribute financially with an open heart, keeping in mind that we are investing in God’s Kingdom and this centre will be one of the ways His Kingdom will be advanced.
